I think it was either the 3rd or 4th grade when I was first introduced to writing an essay or paper. The method that was taught to me was the 5 W's:
Who, What, When, Where, Why?
My teacher instructed that if you answer these 5 W's on any given topic that would be the foundation for a great essay. In hopes of you getting to know me and my blog I wanted to put this elementary practice to use.
Welp, let's see if it works…
My name is Bryanna Merriweather and I am from "The Valley" in Southern California (hints the name)
And before you ask, yes I am a "valley girl", who's vocab growing up included such gems as:
"DUDE", "Whatever", "Loser", "As If", "Hello?", and using "Like" far TOO MUCH!
(try not to judge me…)
I guess the stereotype stops there,
I am not a tall, tan, blue eyed, bleach blonde beauty synonymous with SoCal.
Rather I am a 5'5", brown eyed, black gal with crimson red hair synonymous with… nothing
My interest are wide and thus that will be reflected in this blog. From skateboarding to high fashion, surf to travel, food to vintage lifestyle and a couple things in between. We all are inspired and influenced by a multitude of things, so let's talk about them ALL!
(I wish I was apart of each one of these pics… yupp even the nude one!)
Inspiration and news happen everyday throughout the day so I will do my best to keep up!
EVERYWHERE! No but honestly everywhere I go and every new experience I will gladly share with you. Surf and skate competitions, fashion shows, different states or countries, restaurants, museums, car shows etc. I love to travel and discover new places, people and cultures, getting to share and hopefully inspire you to do the same would be AMAZING!
(now I want to go on a road trip!)
Why?… Because even with all the beautiful blogs and the equally beautiful young men and women behind them, sharing their stories and different viewpoints on topics that actually interest me, I still felt I didn't fit in to their community. I don't fit neatly into a category or stereotype, nor do I want to. My passions, interest and beliefs are vast and ever evolving.
I figured I'm not the only one…right?
I hope I did my teacher proud and you now have a better understanding of myself and my blog.
Now to the fun stuff!
xo,
Bree
